If We Only Had a Governor Committed to Oil and Gas

At least we have a President who’s committed to one of the greatest industries in the state of Louisiana. The following was announced today regarding President Trump visiting the Bayou State.

According to Senator Bill Cassidy, President Trump will be touring the Sempra Energy’s Cameron LNG Export Facility on May 14, 2019.

“I thank President Trump for his commitment to unleashing American energy and supporting Louisiana energy workers,” said Cassidy. “Under Republicans’ watch, we’ve seen new investment in projects from the wellhead to the export facility—bringing billions to our state and creating good-paying jobs for Louisiana workers.”

Too bad we have a governor that has done everything he could to break the back of oil and gas in this state with his trial attorney cronies.

Chris Christie: Florida Republicans Must Stand Firm Against the Bernie Sanders Agenda

It is up to Republicans to support the president and shine a bright light on the Democrats’ repeated efforts to pull America toward socialism. It is up to Republican leaders -- senators, representatives, governors -- particularly in the battleground states -- to have President Trump’s back and frame the election on the terms he defined during his State of the Union address in February:

“Here, in the United States, we are alarmed by new calls to adopt socialism in our country. America was founded on liberty and independence -- not government coercion, domination, and control. We are born free, and we will stay free. Tonight, we renew our resolve that America will never be a socialist country.”

LAGOP: NO COLLUSION. NO OBSTRUCTION

Republican leaders react to Mueller Report.

(Baton Rouge, LA) – Earlier today Attorney General William Barr released the findings of the Mueller Report. The Mueller Report found no collusion and no obstruction.

"This is a complete and total vindication of President Trump. It is increasingly clear that the only scandal here is the Obama administration’s repeated failure to act against Russian cyber meddling. Instead, they prioritized spying on a political opponent – the Trump campaign – and used a phony DNC-funded dossier as justification.” said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.

After 121 Interviews/Testimonies, 53 Document Requests, and 28 hearings, the Mueller investigation cost American taxpayers $35 million over the past two years.

“Liberal leaders across the country have spent the past two years tearing our nation apart with their collusion conspiracy theories; prioritizing political points over the people they are supposed to be serving. From Nancy Pelosi to Adam Schiff to Karen Carter Peterson, Democratic Party leaders must stop chasing their tail and start working with President Trump to keep America great,” said LAGOP Executive Director, Andrew Bautsch.

State attorneys general: Donald Trump's national emergency declaration is constitutional

Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry helped pen the below column regarding President Trump’s emergency declaration regarding the border:

In declaring a state of emergency pursuant to the NEA, President Trump is using pre-existing statutory authority to address a legitimate crisis created by lawless conduct at and beyond our southern border. This emergency declaration is not a case of the president relieving himself of restrictions under the law. To the contrary, our president is protecting our country’s borders through means contemplated by Congress and used many times by past presidents for matters less directly threatening than those present on the southern border.

Rep. Ralph Abraham has proposed to have Louisiana house President Trump’s Space Force:

“Should you select Louisiana as the headquarters for Space Command, you can rest assured that you will have picked a state that is open for investment and one that has unique qualities ideally suited to support Space Command’s growth and development,” Abraham wrote. “I look forward to working with you on seeing Space Command to the finish line as we take the next step in America’s rich and vibrant history of space exploration and development.”

This Is Why I Support President Trump

As much as I hate to say it, I was not a fan of President Trump when he announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination for President. I thought he was a charlatan using this as a way to further his name. I must say that I was wrong.

The below video is of a hospice patient who received a phone call from our President. The short story is that his final wish was to speak to the President; his wish was fulfilled with the help of his sister, a Democrat elected official.

This shows the absolute love that this man has for the people of this country and for the office in which he holds. I firmly believe that God placed Donald J. Trump in the office of President for such a time as this.

God bless you Mr. President.

CASSIDY: Make Mexican Cartels Pay for the Wall

Sen. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana recently went on Fox Business to discuss his upcoming bill that would allow the President to use monies seized from Mexican drug cartel activities to fund the border wall.

Cassidy had the following to say on Fox News:

"It's become an article of faith among Pelosi and her kind of inner circle that they cannot give Trump a victory, even if it means securing our southern border. ... Now, that's a sorry state of affairs, but I'm hoping we can push through that."

More information regarding Cassidy’s bill and his statements regarding Pelosi can be found here.

What You Won’t Hear on the Mainstream Media

Think that the Democrats and Queen Pelosi are really concerned about the 800,000 furloughed federal employees who are a casualty of the government shutdown? Think again. They’re nothing but a pawn in the chess game being played to get rid of what’s holding them back from ultimately destroying this country, President Trump.

The latest indication that those furloughed workers are being used is below. The one thing that I’m wondering is why this wasn’t on the Big 3 and the CNN & MSNBC networks?

“Democratic leaders decided to call up a bill Wednesday to fund the entire government. But just before the final vote, Republicans made a motion to erase that bill and instead vote on a measure to ensure federal workers are paid. The GOP motion failed 200-215,” the Washington Examiner reported.

Pelosi is overplaying her hand and is starting to blink.

CASSIDY: Use Mexican Cartel Money to Build Wall

Sen. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana has suggested using asset forfeiture fund money received during enforcement on Mexican cartel activities within the United States.

"The nice thing about this is Congress does not appropriate money in the asset forfeiture fund. It's one the Executive Branch controls itself, so he could use this money without congressional approval. So it's a way forward even if Miss Pelosi has decided she is not as interested in securing the southern border.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has described President Trump's effort to build a border wall as an obsession, and a waste of billions of taxpayer dollars.

Both sides have vowed to not back down.

In the words on Sen. Cassidy, ""It's the Mexican cartels paying for the wall, and that would be such sweet justice.”

"We have seen what happens when we allow criminals to come into our country illegally," Landry said, pointing to the 2016 death of St. John Fire Chief Spencer Chauvin when a bus driver living in the U.S. illegally crashed his vehicle and killed Chauvin and Jermaine Starr.

"Spencer Chauvin's wife, Jennifer, and his two children, Jude and Jade, will never be reunited with their husband and father here on this earth."

HIGGINS: There is a Crisis on our Southern Border

“President Trump is right. There is a crisis on our southern border. Tonight, President Trump outlined the facts on our current border situation. Democrats may not accept them, but this is the harsh reality that our border patrol agents and law enforcement officers face daily. If Democrats continue to refuse negotiations, then President Trump should do what is necessary to protect our national security and enforce America’s sovereign borders.”

SCALISE: Democrats Need To Stop Playing Games With America's Safety And Fund Border Security Now

From the day President Trump took office, Democrats have vowed to oppose him at every turn in an effort to appease their radical-left base, putting the politics of obstruction over the security of our country.

There’s been no better example of that than the current partial government shutdown.
