"This is the 34th time I'll speak to you from the Oval Office and the last. We've been together 8 years now, and soon it'll be time for me to go. But before I do, I wanted to share some thoughts, some of which I've been saving for a long time."

Louisiana Citizens For Job Creators: Ardoin Fights For Election Integrity
Louisiana Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin is taking his fight for election integrity to the Biden Administration. He is part of a contingency of Secretaries of State from across the country calling out the Biden Administration over their efforts to federalize elections. In an obvious overreach effort the Biden Administration issued an executive order directing federal agencies to "expand citizens" by weaponizing federal agencies such as the Department of Labor and Housing and Urban Development into voter registration offices. This executive order is blatantly disregarding the direction of the constitution which mandates that state legislatures are responsible for the way elections are run.
We have seen liberals manipulate the election process in the past through mail-in ballots and day of registration. This is just one more way for the Biden administration to manipulate the sacredness of our electoral process.
Thank you, Sec. Ardoin for fighting to keep our elections fair and free!

Higgins' Amendment To Remove IRS Army Rejected By Democrats
“Despite unified Republican opposition, Democrats just pushed through a massive tax increase on the American people. They voted to weaponize the IRS against working Americans. This is a horrible bill that will worsen inflation and injure American families. Democrats own this failure, and they will answer for it in November.”

The job listing says:
As a Special Agent you will combine your accounting skills with law enforcement skills to investigate financial crimes. Special Agents are duly sworn law enforcement officers who are trained to “follow the money.” No matter what the source, all income earned, both legal and illegal, has the potential of becoming involved in crimes which fall within the investigative jurisdiction of the IRS Criminal Investigation. Because of the expertise required to conduct these complex financial investigations, IRS Special Agents are considered the premier financial investigators for the Federal government.

JOHNSON: National Debt Is Our Greatest Crisis
The Congressional Budget Office’s (CBO) newly issued long-term budget outlook ought to be required reading for members of Congress. Why? Because Congress is rushing to pass yet another big government spending and tax package, it’s obvious few have read it.
CBO does not say it in so many words, but the report brings to mind former New Jersey Gov. Richard Codey’s quip: “The good news is, we’re not bankrupt. The bad news is, we’re close.”

EMERSON: Anti-abortion law in Louisiana protects the lives of babies and mothers in emergencies
The following was a guest column from Louisiana State Rep. Julie Emerson (R), District 39 - Carencro
To quote Solicitor General Liz Murrill, there’s been a lot of “paint thrown at the wall” to challenge Louisiana’s Human Life Protection Act (Act 545 of 2022), which protects babies from abortion after the reversal of Roe v. Wade. I was a proud co-author of the bill and carried it on the House floor for Sen. Katrina Jackson, D-Monroe. Importantly, every female state senator and a majority of the female members of the House of Representatives voted in support of Act 545. Elective abortion is not health care, and unborn babies deserve a chance at life just like you and me.
