For a man that has served nearly 30 years for a crime that he didn't commit, Glenn Ford sounds awfully at peace and shows no signs of anger that most would have.  He was wrongfully convicted, sent to Louisiana's death row for a murder in that happened in 1984 and was recently released from Angola.  His story of leaving prison, battling terminal cancer and the State of Louisiana who refuses to compensate him for his time incarcerated and meeting the prosecutor who placed him in prison is both inspiring and saddening.

LOUISIANA'S OWN TIM MCGRAW TAKES IT ON THE CHIN FROM GUN-RIGHTS SUPPORTERS

It appears that our own Louisiana son, Tim McGraw, has stepped into a veritable buzz-saw with him appearing at what many in the gun-rights circles have called a "gun control fundraiser."  Twitter was abuzz with 2nd Amendment supporters decrying McGraw taking part in a fundraiser for a Sandy Hook group, which was formed after the shooting that took place there back in 2012.
