ANOTHER CASE OF LIBERALS TAKING THINGS TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL

You can be sure, any time a liberal has a good idea, it usually ends up having either an embarrassing or detrimental effect on our society.  This just happens to be one of the those cases where liberals have embarrassed a group of people, that being ROTC members pressured to parade around in high heels.  Sounds crazy?  Well, it is.  The great thinkers in higher education and the liberal hierarchy in the ROTC at Temple University decided that these young people ought to be made to wear red high heels in promotion of a "walk a mile in my shoes" awareness campaign highlighting sexual assault against women.

To be sure, sexual assault is an important issue that should be highlighted, but clown shows like this only degrade the ideals of raising the awareness of this issue.  And to use the military in such a fashion only shows what our leaders in higher education and the Obama administration really feel about our men and women wearing the uniform.

ANOTHER INSTALLMENT OF "HOW CROOKED IS BUDDY CALDWELL?"

Source: KPEL 96.5

It seems that Buddy Caldwell cannot help but wallow in the swill of dishonest politics.  On the heels of his use of outside law firms that have financial ties to his office, he has been caught trying to file a word-for-word bill that was settled in 2013.  This is also the man that was caught on video serenading the former U.S. Senator from Louisiana, Mary Landrieu, in his best Elvis impersonation.

Caldwell is currently fighting for his political life in an upcoming reelection which pits him against former Congressman Jeff Landry, a Tea-Party favorite and advocate for smaller government.

NO MATTER WHAT, PRO-DEATH ADVOCATES WANT ABORTION AT ANY COST

It is appalling to see that anything that can be done to either make abortions safe, less prevalent or pain restrictive to the fetus is always met with the same response from pro-death abortion advocates: NO!  No stronger a sign is this, where women who seek abortions are provided a variety of information, anesthesia for the fetus, rights to stop the procedures, etc.  What these abortion providers and supporters really want is to, what Rand Paul has asked of Debbie Wasserman Schultz regarding termination of a 7 lb. fetus right before delivery, is killing at any cost.

GUESS SARAH PALIN WAS RIGHT ABOUT THOSE DEATH PANELS

Remember back when Sarah Palin was ridiculed for her assertion that ObamaCare would lead to the government making life or death decisions, basically becoming death panels?  Well, with statements from liberals that advocate the termination of life on severely disabled infants, I guess her assertions weren't that far off.  When you put the government in the position to begin making such decisions, there are sure to be those that push for killing of those that they deem "unworthy" of taxpayer medical care.

A STORY OF TRAGEDY; GLENN FORD - WRONGFULLY CONVICTED MAN THAT WAS ON LOUISIANA'S DEATH ROW

For a man that has served nearly 30 years for a crime that he didn't commit, Glenn Ford sounds awfully at peace and shows no signs of anger that most would have.  He was wrongfully convicted, sent to Louisiana's death row for a murder in that happened in 1984 and was recently released from Angola.  His story of leaving prison, battling terminal cancer and the State of Louisiana who refuses to compensate him for his time incarcerated and meeting the prosecutor who placed him in prison is both inspiring and saddening.

LOUISIANA'S OWN TIM MCGRAW TAKES IT ON THE CHIN FROM GUN-RIGHTS SUPPORTERS

It appears that our own Louisiana son, Tim McGraw, has stepped into a veritable buzz-saw with him appearing at what many in the gun-rights circles have called a "gun control fundraiser."  Twitter was abuzz with 2nd Amendment supporters decrying McGraw taking part in a fundraiser for a Sandy Hook group, which was formed after the shooting that took place there back in 2012.

MELISSA HARRIS-PERRY AND HER PROBLEMS WITH PAYING TAXES

Don't you love how liberals are always saying that "the rich" aren't paying their "fair share", at the same time, forgetting to pay their own taxes?  Such is the case of the likes of the "Reverend" Al Sharpton and now, the former college professor at Tulane and MSNBC host, Melissa Harris Perry.

SEN. DAVID VITTER HOLDING UP LYNCH NOMINATION AMID CONTINUING CLINTON QUESTIONS

Proud to see that the senior Senator from our state of Louisiana is continuing to hold account the Obama administration concerning the handling of Hillary Clinton's emails while during her time as Sec. of State.  There is no assurance that as Attorney General that Loretta Lynch will not continue to be a pawn in the Obama administration as, as such, questions should be answered before a full vote is taken on her nomination to that post.  As we have seen for the past 6 years with Eric Holder, the Justice Department is not impartial and is another tool being used by Barack Obama in setting his agenda.

GOP PRIMARY WINNER SANTORUM ENDORSES LANDRY

logo214-1.png

Jeff Landry, conservative candidate for Louisiana Attorney General and former Congressman from LA-3, has received the endorsement of Rick Santorum, former U.S. Senator and Presidential candidate.  Landry’s campaign sent out the below email regarding the announcement today:

The campaign is heating up, and our momentum continues to build.

Rick Santorum – the winner of the 2012 Louisiana Republican Presidential Primary, former U.S. Senator, and Chairman of Patriot Voices – today announced his endorsement of our campaign for Attorney General.

I am thrilled to have Senator Santorum’s endorsement as we work to bring honesty, integrity and conservative principles to the Attorney General’s Office.

Senator Santorum said in his endorsement that he has always been impressed by my principled, conservative leadership.
"Jeff is not just a lifelong Republican, but a lifelong conservative who is committed to bettering his community and the State of Louisiana. Jeff has shown his commitment to public service as a decorated veteran, as a sheriff, and a Member of Congress; and I am proud to support his candidacy to be Louisiana’s next Attorney General."
Senator Santorum recognizes the critical need for a proven conservative as Louisiana’s next Attorney General to fight the regulatory overreach of President Obama and his Administration.

With your help, I can provide our state that leadership. Please visit my website and join our team. And if you are able to contribute financially to our efforts of protecting our families, freedoms and the rule of law – please do so right now online here.

Thanks in advance for your support,
Jeff Landry
Your Candidate for Attorney General

This endorsement comes on the heel of another recent endorsement by Congressman John Fleming of Louisiana.

REP. BARBARA LEE (D-CA): GLOBAL WARMING WILL TURN WOMEN INTO PROSTITUTES FOR FOOD

This shows exactly why Democrats are so ridiculously out of touch with reality.  This “representative” from California should be thrown out of the House of Representatives for such asinine legislation.

Whereas food insecure women with limited socioeconomic resources may be vulnerable to situations such as sex work, transactional sex, and early marriage that put them at risk for HIV, STIs, unplanned pregnancy, and poor reproductive health;

THE REAL STORY BEHIND NORTHSIDE HIGH PRINCIPAL’S SUDDEN DEPARTURE

robinmay_120301_1950__2-25203-imenu-1.jpg

It’s sad when the administration and the leaders in the Lafayette Parish School System put politics before the students in the district.  Repeatedly, there is nothing but games and pettiness related to educators and those outside of the political establishment in this district.  Until the broken system is totally replaced, it is apparent that nothing will improve for those in the school system that need it most.
