Not enough prayers can save the Queen of the Bayou. Her own party has hung her out to dry. And who’s waging war on women again?
WHAT “HANDS UP, DON’T SHOOT” REALLY MEANS IN FERGUSON
What exactly is Dear Leader trying to say when telling the “Rev-Rumm” Al Sharpton to “stay the course?” Talk about a fomenter of racial animosity and total usurper of the rule of law.
NEW ORLEANS MARY’S SWAN SONG
If this is any indication if what the runoff will look like for Katrina Mary, we are looking at a monumental landslide here in the Pelican State in December.
THE LIE THAT IS BARACK OBAMA
This man can outright lie and nothing is reported or the liberals in this country run to his defense with charges of racism or stupidity.
TIME TO BUILD THE KEYSTONE PIPELINE
Dear Friend,
We’ve been working to pass the Keystone XL Pipeline for four years. It would obviously create good-paying jobs and increase our energy independence. It’s a no-brainer.
But thanks to a President committed to undermining domestic energy production and major energy projects, it hasn’t been able to get approved. President Obama and Democrats in Congress just keep kicking the can down the road.
But, we’re finally moving a step forward. The House of Representatives passed legislation written by Dr. Bill Cassidy to finally approve the Keystone Pipeline.
There is no other single project that has the same positive jobs benefit, the same positive energy security benefit, and five clean environmental impact statements. It has broad-based support, reflecting the majority of Americans understanding that Washington needs to stop getting in the way of our economic recovery.
It’s long past time to approve the Keystone XL pipeline. I’ve worked with colleagues in the Senate since 2011 to push this forward, and I’ll continue to fight until it’s complete.
As always, I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on energy, the Keystone XL pipeline, and other issues important to you. Please contact me with your ideas at any of my state offices or in my Washington office. You can also reach me online at vitter.senate.gov.
Sincerely,
David Vitter

VOTER INTEGRITY
Dear Fellow Republican,
After two decades of being a Harry Reid-Barack Obama pawn, Mary Landrieu can finally be defeated. But we need your help to bid adieu to Mary Landrieu!
After serving as your conservative voice in Congress, I now have agreed to chair the Louisiana Republican Party’s Voter Integrity Program. This program has been put together in an effort to prevent voter fraud and guarantee a fair and impartial election on December 6th.
With the chance to add to our Republican majority in the U.S. Senate, we must protect the integrity of the election by making sure every legally cast vote is counted and not diluted by fraud and negligence.
From impersonation fraud to duplicate voting to illegal "assistance" at the polls, there are many types of voter fraud. But with your help, we can ensure the security and the integrity of our election process.
To maintain a fair election– please talk to your family, friends, and neighbors about the importance of voting and please encourage them to join you as a poll watcher on December 6th.
To join our Voter Integrity Program, please register today at http://www.lagop.com/voter-integrity.
Registration for the Voter Integrity Program ends at Noon on Wednesday, November 26th. Please sign up today and recruit others to help us ensure the election is free of fraud and corruption.
Again, you may join our Voter Integrity Program by registering at http://www.lagop.com/voter-integrity.
Please sign up today and help bid adieu to Mary Landrieu.
Thanks,
Jeff Landry

HELP ON WAY FOR ACADIANA VETERANS
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: November 11, 2014

Help on Way for Acadiana Veterans
NEW IBERIA, LA – NEW IBERIA, LA – Acadiana veterans will get transportation assistance to the Alexandria VA health clinic, thanks to a donation made by former U.S. Representative Jeff Landry and supporting local businesses.
Landry will present a check tonight to the Honor Guard of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 182 for the purchase of a new van to service the needs of our community’s veterans. The vehicle will transport the Honor Guard to official functions and help many of our 14,000 local veterans get to their healthcare appointments in Alexandria.
“Acadiana’s veterans put our country first, fought for our freedom, and protected our liberties. Unfortunately, they’ve had a difficult time receiving the respect and care they deserve,” said Landry. “I am proud to do what I can to help our community’s heroes get the services they need.”
“As a veteran, I have seen up close the sacrifices our men and women in the military make to serve our country. And I believe we must fulfill the commitments our nation has made to our veterans,” continued Landry. “That is why I went to work to help solve some of our Acadiana veterans’ problems.”
In addition to the van, Landry will also donate a bench dedicated to local veterans on Bouligny Plaza. Grateful members of our community are encouraged to attend the Veterans Day event, which will also feature a flyover 30 minutes before sunset by ace pilot Dick Spears in a World War II Navy Stearman Trainer, beginning at 6:00 PM at 150 West Main Street in New Iberia.

Donors who contributed to the van cause include Linier Controls, Jackie Judice, John Curry, Fremin’s Metal Buildings, M.A. Patout and Son, Barry Naquin, Iberia Aggregates, Juan Segura Farms, Sweet Interiors, Ricky Gonsonlin Farms, Miguez Oil, Cargill Salt Avery Island, Joey Zagar Bayou Welding, Casey Sorrell Electric, Nathan Granger QCP, Teche Home Builders, Laris Insurance, Delcambre Boat Parade, and Cajun Building Systems.
BOUSTANY DOES IT TO US AGAIN!!!
Pandering to the left yet again this year, Charles Boustany has sold out his “conservative” credentials and aligned himself with the likes of Mary Landrieu on the United Ballot in Lafayette. The same ballot pushed for Boustany’s election in his 2012 run against Jeff Landry.
Just a few days ago, The Independent in Lafayette ran a piece in their paper outlining the activities behind United Ballot that are less than desirable. Boustany aligning himself with such an organization, which reportedly costs nearly $30,000 to get on the ballot, shows exactly the character of the representative from Louisiana’s 3rd District.
TEA PARTY CANDIDATE ROB MANESS FALLS SHORT IN LOUISIANA SENATE UPSET BID; PLANS TO ENDORSE REPUBLICAN BILL CASSIDY
“It’s time for fresh leadership in Washington. It’s high time for Mary Landrieu to go,” Maness said.
Maness’ campaign manager Michael Byrne said Maness will support Cassidy in the runoff.
WE DID IT.
We did it.
We just secured Republican victories and won a Senate majority in this historic election — all because of you.
The American people have put their trust in the Republican Party, sending a GOP majority to the U.S. Senate.
I want to congratulate all our candidates tonight — and I want to thank you for putting your trust in our Party and our leaders. Your vote made the difference in this historic election.
Our Party’s principles and message resonated with voters across the country. This was a rejection of President Obama’s failed policies and Harry Reid’s dysfunctional Senate.
We invested early across the country, and were able to provide critical support to our candidates and campaigns. The RNC was involved in communities across this country, building relationships and listening to voters. We built an unprecedented data and digital operation, allowing us to reach voters and equip a winning ground game.
I want to thank you for voting, volunteering and contributing to make this possible.
Republicans have been given the opportunity to lead the country in a better direction — and the Republican House and Senate are ready to listen to the American people. We hope President Obama will too.
It’s time to get to work on creating jobs, expanding American energy development, pursuing real health care reform, reducing spending, and reining in the federal government.
Thanks to you, we are sending a Republican majority to the U.S. Senate.
You have my eternal gratitude,
Reince
BREAKING: HISTORIC VICTORY!
Dear Friend,
Tonight was an historic victory!
Taking back the Senate from Harry Reid and Barack Obama means we can start putting our country back on the right track.
And it makes me even more enthusiastic about my effort to become our next Governor here at home. As our next Governor, I can have an even bigger impact getting us back on that right track, advancing freedom and opportunity. Together, we can address the unique challenges and opportunities we face in Louisiana with bold vision and conservative common sense. I’d be honored to continue to earn your full support as that campaign develops.
Now, in the meantime I’ll enjoy a new role in the Senate majority–Chairman of the important Small Business Committee. Leading the Small Business Committee, I’ll be able to shape policy that helps all of Louisiana’s businesses. We can make important efforts there to grow our energy industry, free ourselves from the Obama Administration’s crushing regulatory agenda, reduce the tax burden on small businesses, and of course repeal and replace Obamacare.
Finally, I certainly want to stress that we have some work left to do on these mid-term elections here in Louisiana. We need to elect another conservative senator from Louisiana to be an active, leading member of our new Republican majority. We need to help Bill Cassidy defeat Mary Landrieu on December 6. Please join me in that crucial effort too.
God bless, and enjoy our historic win tonight!
David

HOW RED OR BLUE IS YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD? FIND OUT FROM OUR LOUISIANA VOTING PRECINCT MAP
Political analysts have long noted that Louisiana tends to vote GOP in statewide races, even if Democrats outnumber the Republicans. Now you can see just how that plays out, precinct by precinct:
THE LOUISIANA DEMOCRATS AND RACE
Tomorrow when you are casting your vote for Senator in the state of Louisiana, please keep in mind who the real race hustlers are in this state. When all else fails, the race card is dropped, as in the latest case with Mary Landrieu. Just a visual reminder of what both Landrieu and the head of the state Democrat Party, Karen Carter Peterson, think of the citizens of this state.
CAMPAIGN ADS USE RACIAL SCARE TACTICS IN SOUTHERN BLACK STRONGHOLDS FOR DEMOCRATS
You’ve got to love the desperation that the liberals are showing with mid-terms just a day away. For instance, here is a flyer being passed around in Alabama that hearkens back to a Jim Crow era.

BEN CARSON TO CAMPAIGN FOR BILL CASSIDY AT TEA PARTY RALLY SATURDAY
For the ones that continually castigate Bill Cassidy for not being “Tea-Party enough”, please explain to me why one of the strongest liberty advocates is coming to Louisiana to help out? Do what’s best for Louisiana at this point in history and vote for Cassidy.
Carson joins the list of several nationally prominent political figures making campaign stops in Louisiana as candidates make their final pushes before Election Day on Nov. 4.
Former Republican presidential nominee and U.S. Sen. John McCain has also recently visited the state to campaign for Cassidy.

‘A TIME FOR CHOOSING’: RONALD REAGAN’S FIVE DECADES IN AMERICA [VIDEO]
So it’s worth cutting through the fog of time and politics to look at the ideas Mr. Reagan espoused in his 1964 national debut, not simply because they’re interesting, but because they are so timeless, he could speak them today without an alteration.
Mr. Reagan could have been eulogizing Jim Foley when he said, “There can be no real peace while one American is dying someplace in the world for the rest of us.”
